Hi there! I’m Sarah Beth Thie, the owner of Sarah Elizabeth Events. I am a Charleston native but now call Charlotte, North Carolina home with my amazing husband, Doug, our two beautiful daughters, and puppy, Penny. I attended Wofford College and met my now husband on my very first day. I absolutely love what I do and am truly honored to work with the most incredible couples turned friends. I am grateful for the trusted vendor relationships I’ve built in the business and am blessed to work with some crazy creative and awesome event professionals. When I’m not planning events, you can find me outdoors, antiquing, exploring hidden gems, and enjoying live music. I cherish time with my family and friends – they are literally the best in the world. I have an adventurous spirit and love for culture and travel… writing this makes me want to hop on a plane. I believe that God designed me as a creative soul with the ability to see beauty all around me. I believe in the art of entertaining, that there is beauty in simplicity, and that classic elegance and etiquette never go out of style. I gain much of my creative inspiration from my travels, everyday moments, interior design, fashion, and nature. You cannot find more beautiful textures and color palettes than being in nature. Being kind to people is contagious and I will always stand by that. My favorite part of the wedding will forever be the marriage vows and the celebration of that commitment.
